A few weeks ago we took a canoe and kayak trip down the Alafia River. The trip took about 4 hours and we paddled approx. 12 miles. The boys each paddled the kayaks and Rob and I were in the canoe. We had a great time. The highlight for the boys was that every few miles or so, someone tied a rope swing in a tree close to the river. They had a blast swinging and out over the river and landing in the cool water. What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon!!

Well, that just looks like too much fun! Definitely a "Stevens Family Outing". I bet that water felt good after a day of canoeing! It's good to be able to keep up with friends from back home.
