Our Trip to Virginia and the Outer Banks

The "Geek" and his sidekick arrive on campus! We loved Regent University. The campus was beautiful and the Open House was a delight.
This is just one of the many beautiful buildings on the campus.

Fall colors! Yeah!

I finally got to see the wild ponies!

Another state to add to our collection!

Sometimes their is just nothing more to say!

I love these boys!

Yorktown Battlefield. God's hand was definitely in the events that unfolded here.

The Wright Brothers Monument at Kitty Hawk, NC.

The boys bought some really cool kites at Kitty Hawk. They flew them on a huge sand dune at Jockey Ridge.

The battleship tour was so cool!

Matthew being Matthew!

Andrew being Andrew!

Gotta love the pig!

Kelly, what a wonderful trip! That is a beautiful university campus. Is Matthew considering Regent? I am so glad you got to see the beautiful fall colors! We have been enjoying them here in Arkasouri.

I went to visit Kitty Hawk as a child of age 6 -- it is a neat place! Thanks for sharing the fun with us -- and we can tell you love those boys! They are special.

I LOVE that picture of you and your boys - how very special! You should definitely frame it. You are the quintessential "boys mom"!
Those were some great pictures. You all always pack your trips full of fun stuff (and educational activities - we must not forget that!)
Glad you had such a productive trip!

Love,
Molly

Beautiful campus, wow!

"the geek and his sidekick" I like that :)

Oh - Markie would have been right there beside you at Chincoteague. She has read so much about it!

I also love that picture of you and your boys! They are great boys and you have a right to be proud of them!

Isn't the story of Yorktown great? "The Day the World Turned Upside Down!" God's hand was not and IS not short!

We're so glad you all could take this trip. You sure have a lot of states under your travelin' belt!

Love

I've never been to the Outer Banks but have always wanted to. Thanks for sharing the pictures, I thought the kites were very neat!

Hey Kelly Girl, It was so good seeing you and your family the other night. Thanks for sharing your trip with us, even though I'm jealous...I didn't get to go see the leaves this year. College for Matthew??? It can't be!!! It just seems like yesterday that I was testing him for 2nd grade. Fleeting isn't it??? I'm excited that he can take most of his classes online.
