Virginia Trip Part 2

Wallops Flight Facility. This is a NASA flight test facility on Wallops Island, VA.

"Geek" in Space! (Notice "The Hat". He doesn't leave home with out it!)

The entrance to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. My NEXTEL worked in the tunnel 100 ft under water, but doesn't work at Walmart in Auburndale!

High Cotton!

The Lighthouse on Assateague
Island.

We came upon this sweet B & B when we were in Chincoteague, VA. Marguerite Henry actually stayed here while writing the book "Misty of Chincoteague". It made me think of my dear friends in Alturas.
My car on the ferry. It was a 2 1/2 hour ride to the mainland.

Great trip, Stevenses! I bet your boys loved the ferry ride! When we lived in Seattle (as a teen), we loved to ride the ferry just for an inexpensive afternoon pasttime.

Miss Molly's Inn looks like a place I would love to stay. And the NEXTEL, tunnel, Walmart comment is too funny! We have had great coverage with AT&T all the way up to and back from Missouri, but not one bar at the property!

A surprising good note though -- we took the ATV up to the top of the mountain on the property and found perfect, complete coverage. Guess if you can live in a tunnel or on top of a wild mountain, you can have great signal!!
